Synopsis
Is your business a friend or foe of the planet?
Is the forecasted growth of ICT in fields such as the Internet of Things, AI, autonomous vehicles and Cloud, compatible with the climate emergency?
John Booth will provide the background to the twin issues of climate change and energy, and how they will impact data centres, supply chains and the allied ICT companies now and in the future.
This latest in our popular series of biannual unconferences for business leaders usually takes place at Oracle UK’s Customer Centre in Reading but is running online on this occasion, because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Before John speaks, there will be a brief presentation from Doug Johnson-Poensgen entitled 'The drive for net zero and the role of the supply chain'. Doug is CEO of Circulor, a software solution that combines best-of-breed technologies to empower supply chain visibility and enable businesses to improve further their sustainability agenda.
