Synopsis
This session is aimed at members of the BCS (and other interested individuals) who are currently progressing a technical career track, whilst wondering what career options they may have in the future.
Many SME’s come to a fork in the road as their career progresses and project management may be an option that allows them to remain in their chosen domain whilst expanding their people and operational focussed skillset.
Join John as he explores this career option and the many pathways available in the project management domain.
About the speaker
John Thorpe is a director and founder of Arras People, the Project Management Recruitment and Career specialists, who have been serving the UK market since 2002. Now in the third phase of his career John has travelled through engineering and manufacturing to professional services and latterly creating and running Arras Services; a career path that has involved him in many diverse projects, programmes and portfolios of work. John is also the author of the industry recognised Arras People Project Management Benchmark Report.
