This talk will explain the impact of BCS as a professional body and it’s charitable objectives, why membership matters and how it is shaping brighter futures for everyone in the digital and tech industries.
Holly will explain how the BCS is “Making IT good for society and the profession”. These are very challenging times for us all, with IT systems such as Zoom and Teams allowing our businesses to at least keep running in some form. Our profession is currently under the spotlight – and is delivering – as never before. There will be time for questions following the presentation.
About the speaker
Holly, as BCS Membership Director, leads community engagement and membership proposition development. She joined BCS in July 2019 from global information standards body GS1 UK, having spent 10 years in marketing, membership and communications leadership roles. She started her career working for large corporates in the manufacturing sector in customer services, product and marketing roles.
