SYNOPSIS
Joint with APM Portfolio Management SIG
The Association of Project Management’s Portfolio Management SIG has an unrivalled insight into how Portfolio Management is delivered across different industries and sectors through their engagement with practitioners, their annual conference and their Portfolio Director’s Network.
Building on this knowledge, and their own experience, they have authored ‘Portfolio Management: a practitioner’s guide’ which looks to give practical and pragmatic advice on how to create the need for portfolio management, what it can do for an organisation and how to implement it.
In this presentation, Adam Skinner, co-chair of the committee and co-author of the guide, will take you through the basics of Portfolio Management, discuss how the guide supports your implementation of portfolio management and explore some of the pitfalls and potential traps of delivery.
