Synopsis
One evening in early December, Seren is helping her family to get some Christmas decorations from the attic of their house. In a dark corner of the attic, she finds a dusty blanket, and underneath that an even dustier chest. A treasure chest! But in order to find out what's inside, Seren will need to find out the code for the padlock that is keeping it firmly locked.
Find out what cyber security techniques Seren and her friends use as they try and unlock the secret of the Festive Chest. In this session (aimed at 8 to 14-year olds) you will be given an interactive introduction to cyber security techniques and tools such as:
- CyberChef
- Open Source Intelligence
- Cryptography
- Steganography
- Digital Footprint
Clare Johnson and Holly Lidbury are both CyberFirst Ambassadors. They are accredited by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
This event is for 8 to 14-year olds.
