Synopsis

It will be a brief meeting with the Chair and Treasurer’s report, election and also opportunity for members to steer the direction of events and activities. Please join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

We have several vacancies available including the new role of inclusion officer.

Anyone willing to give a little time and effort is welcome and encouraged to join us on the committee. In particular we are interested in people who can help promote our events (email, social media, LinkedIn, Meetup etc). 50% of people who attend our events are non-members and we would like to continue to reach out to them to promote the work of BCS.

If you are interested in joining the committee or are presently on the committee and wish to continue, please contact us on the email below. We are open to nominations for any position on the committee, although please note that due to changes in BCS rules, committee members must now be BCS members.

Being on the committee is rewarding whether you’re looking to showcase your experience or contribute back to the community. All of our events for the foreseeable future are likely to be virtual.
