The slant on this talk is that we are mostly working from home due to the coronavirus lockdown, which gives us a great opportunity to reflect on how we could be doing things more agile. Besides some insights into evolving our agile way of working, this talk is meant to be interactive with the perspectives of what are the benefits of this new way of working.

SYNOPSIS:
Implementing Agile Project management is far from easy, especially when you are in a non-software development environment, and people still believe that it is either waterfall or agile. It is not, yet neither is it a hybrid.
Agile is a philosophy, and when managers say “my leadership team want a Gantt chart, that’s not agile”, they have missed the point. Agile specifically states “we welcome change, even at the last minute” and we value concise documentation, and as a “picture is worth a thousand words” a Gantt chart is a perfect way to depict the plan albeit an evolving plan within agile.
