SYNOPSIS
A Workshop and ideal opportunity for Enterprise and Solution Architects to discuss and share specific challenges women have experienced and how we can further promote more women moving into the SA/EA domain.
Speakers will be given approx. 15 min to present their challenges and experiences in the Enterprise and Solution architecture space.
Presentations will be followed by a roundtable / group discussion on specific issues presented and how we can best promote more woman entering the profession.
The event will be followed by a networking opportunity where attendees can further discuss specific issues, they fee can add value in this debate
We hope to use this forum as a platform to promote further diversity in the Enterprise and Solution Architecture space.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Dr Gabby Mooney - brings twenty-five years’ experience as a leader and member of architecture, delivery and assurance teams. Permanent and consulting roles in the Government, Utility, Transport, Shipping, Insurance and Pharmaceutical sectors, up to CxO level. Passionate about knowledge and information, and how we use technologies, especially the emerging AI paradigms, to exploit its use in an ethical and inclusive manner.
Gabrielle Liddy - Early career experience in Artificial Intelligence and Object-Oriented Technologies have meant I have worked on projects that were agile before the term was used! In my post-coding career, as an Enterprise Architect, I am a bridge between the IT department and the customers and am interested in issues to do with the use of emerging technologies
Jacqueline Shakespeare - is the author of working parents guide, ‘In This Moment’, and executive coach and operating partner at business transformation consultancy Sullivan & Stanley, helping clients such as Mastercard, BCG and EE solve complex business problems. She specialises in leading strategy development and helping organisations become ChangeReady.
Ian West- is a practicing Enterprise Architect currently working for a leading UK organisation. With experience in establishing architecture practices and designing for the enterprise he has a proven ability to deliver value to organisations.
Rubi Kaur - is a Senior Solutions Architect at Vodafone Group for Enterprise new product development.
She has over 20 years industry managerial and technical lead experience from previous roles at BT, O2 and the UK Government.
In 2012 Rubi led her team to win the UK Business Green IT Team of the year and the UK Government Treasury Finance Award for Sustainability.
In 2016 Rubi was on the Judges panel for judging the Computer Weekly's Most Influential Women in UK IT awards. As a former trustee of the BCS Chartered Institute of IT, Rubi is passionate to promote a progressive, diverse IT profession.
