SYNOPSIS
Switch on to Swindon is a business-led board of Swindon business leaders, in partnership with Swindon Borough Council. Their mission is to be the positive voice of Swindon to the outside world. They have three main goals; to attract the right new talent to the town, to help grow the economy of Swindon and to shift perceptions of Swindon as a great place to live, work and do business. TechSwindon is a Switch On To Swindon project, designed to support and promote our growing digi-tech community across the region. Over the next 12-months, companies can join meet-up events and programmes for digi-tech providers and tech reliant companies, culminating in a showcase event in the summer of 2020. The TechSwindon team aim to showcase their impressive digi-tech community to attract more companies to the town and add to their pipeline of tech talent to enable further business growth. An opportunity to learn and discuss about the digital future in Swindon.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Kris Talikowski: Switch Onto Swindon Board Member, Business Owner and Old Town Business Association President. Kris is passionate about all things Swindon and technology. His passion and drive were the catalyst behind the Tech Swindon campaign, firstly outlining the vision but then also helping to kick start the programme securing the first wave of commercial investment.
Chris Parsons: Economic Development Officer, Swindon Borough Council. Chris spent 13 years at Intel managing a team in the Operations Department in Swindon before moving into the public sector. Chris’ role in SBC’s Business & Economy Team is to engage and support the town’s business community, helping where possible to safeguard employment and deliver growth.
