Sam Vickerman and Matt Quirk from Doris will open the event by defining the digital skills gap and share their experiences of how to bridge the gaps to future proof your company and the industry by focusing on the similarities between working generations and teaching you how to embrace the differences.
Pardeep Dhanda will then share the research QA have done into the current UK skills gap. Pardeep will then talk about the approach they took at Deutsche Bank (where he worked for 6 years) to build an Agile learning culture.

About the speakers:
Sam and Matt have worked together at Doris for 3 years sharing knowledge and learning from each other every day! Sam has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years starting out as an analyst on the IT Service Desk before moving into IT Planning and Performance Management. Since then she has worked as an IT Manager in Operational, Transformation and Change roles, within both the Financial Services and Retail Sectors, with an excellent breadth of experience and knowledge, she has overseen large Global transformation projects. After being a customer of Doris's whilst at Shop Direct, Sam is now the Client Director of Doris, managing large accounts, business development activities and ensuring customer satisfaction. Matt joined Doris in April 2015 and was placed on assignment at Shop Direct working with Sam! Matt completed his degree at Manchester Met Uni and started his own business before joining Doris and they both now run the Client Management side of things at Doris and support the business’ development.
Pardeep (AKA Paddy) has gone from programming geek to chief Lego player and is the Head of Agile Practices at QA Limited. He has previously rolled out Agile education to over 100k agilists within a global bank and has worked in the field of Business Analysis and Agile coaching for almost 20 years. He previously led the global Business Analysis Community of Practice comprising of over 2k practitioners. He is the Communities Director for IIBA UK and specialises in multiple Agile frameworks, holding various certifications; CSPO (Scrum), CSM (Scrum), A-CSM (Scrum), SPC (Scaled Agile Framework), LeSS (Large Scale Scrum). Pardeep is passionate about innovation education and and is launching his personal blog paddydhanda.com. He also tells really bad jokes according to his two young children.
