Representative of the department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy will update the group on progression on Holiday Pay Law (February 2019 guidance and changes for April 2020), and the latest progression on changes as a result of the Taylor Review.
2.00pm – 2.15pm – Payroll Group matters including review and approval of the minutes of 6th Nov 2018
2.15pm – 3pm – The Pension Regulator Update
3.00pm - 3.15pm - Refreshment break
3.15pm - 4.00pm - HMRC Update (policy and technical)
Representatives of HMRC policy, software develop support and associated colleagues will update the group on various announcements impacting payroll software in relation to: 20-21 delivery roadmap; Employment Allowance reform; Class 1A NICs on Termination etc; Off Payroll in Private sector (IR35); Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay and Leave (SPBP); Short Term Business Visitors (STBV)-appendix 8, Ultra Lowe Emmission Vehicle and any other HMRC matters
4.00pm – 4.45pm – Other matters and BCS Payroll group matters
