Synopsis: This talk with deal with the areas of Vulnerability Management, IT Compliance and Web Application Security. While each of these areas can be very involved Damian will be providing an introduction that will allow attendees to grasp the basics of each. He'll look at what each area is, how and why we do it and why working on them will improve the security of our companies. With this information attendees should be better equipped to decide which areas need improvement in their own organisation.
Speaker details: Damian's IT experience spans four decades with engagements in the military, public and private sectors. More recently he's focused on IT Security in from both Best Practice and Practical Use perspectives and working with many large companies has produced a clear understanding of what works and is important in IT Security. Damian advises brand names on rebuilding their Vulnerability Management and Compliance programmes to be efficient, practical and valuable.
