Directions
Swindon is conveniently situated on the M4 corridor, just an hour away from both London and Cardiff - by rail or car - and 30 minutes from Bristol and Reading.
BCS is located at 3 Newbridge Square in the heart of the town providing great access to transport links, key retail areas, cafes and restaurants and the local business community. The train station is just a two-minute walk away and the bus station sits adjacent to our building.
When you arrive at Newbridge Square, you’ll need to sign in at the reception desk in the ground floor foyer. There are lifts and stairs to our offices on the fourth and fifth floor.
By rail
Swindon is primarily served by First Great Western. On a normal weekday, services from London and Cardiff run approximately every half an hour. Services vary from other locations and you can check the full details and timetables at gwr.com or alternatively thetrainline.com.
When you arrive in Swindon, Newbridge Square is just a two-minute walk away from the train station. Exit the station via the main front door, cross the road and follow Wellington Street, the road that runs directly in front of you between two public houses. Newbridge Square is the eight-storey building you’ll be able to see up ahead at the end of the road.
By bus
3 Newbridge Square is located alongside Swindon’s main bus station. Once you arrive at the bus station, head in the direction of the town centre and you’ll immediately be in Newbridge Square.
By car
The nearest car parks are:
- Whalebridge, SN1 1TN - 5 min walk
- Fleming Way, SN1 2HG - 5 min walk
We’re just over ten minutes from J15 of the M4.
- Leave the motorway heading north on the A419 then take the first exit signposted to Swindon A4259 and Hospital.
- Follow the A4259 past the hospital and into the town centre.
- At Drakes Way roundabout at the end of the A4259, take the first exit onto the A4312 which will bring you to Swindon’s famous Magic Roundabout!
- Here you need to take the second exit signposted Town Centre - you’ll exit the roundabout onto Fleming Way with the fire station on your left-hand side and a petrol station on your right.
- Go straight over the next mini-roundabout, then follow the signs for town centre parking.
- Take a short walk to Newbridge Square which is located between the pedestrian shopping precinct and the main bus station.
Newbridge Square is a ten-minute drive from J16 of the M4.
- When you leave the motorway, take the A3102 towards Swindon.
- At Blagrove roundabout, follow the road ahead staying on the A3102 dual carriageway.
- At Mannington roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4006 Great Western Way and follow the dual carriageway over the next two roundabouts.
- When you get to Bruce Street Bridges roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4289.
- Continue following the dual carriageway over North Star roundabout, then turn right at the second of the dual Cockleberry roundabouts signposted to the town centre via the low bridge.
- After the low bridge, keep straight ahead at the traffic lights then get into the right-hand lane and take a right turn at the next set of traffic lights into Manchester Road.
- You’ll be able to see Newbridge Square at the end of the road, the eight-storey building adjacent to the bus station. From here, follow the signs to town centre parking.
- Approaching Swindon eastbound on the A419, you need to exit onto the A4311 signposted Swindon (N & W).
- As you approach the Motorola junction, take the left-hand slip road signposted Town Centre, keeping on the A4311.
- Follow the A4311 straight over the next few roundabouts, then right at Elgin roundabout and straight on at Chapel roundabout.
- At Transfer Bridges roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4289 and at the next roundabout turn left and proceed under the low bridge.
- After the low bridge, keep straight ahead at the traffic lights then get into the right-hand lane and take a right turn at the next set of traffic lights into Manchester Road.
- You’ll be able to see 3 Newbridge Square at the end of the road, the eight-storey building adjacent to the bus station. From here, follow the signs to town centre parking.
- If you’re heading into Swindon on the A420, as you approach the end of the A420 go straight over Gablecross roundabout and at the next roundabout take the third exit onto the A4312, signposted to Swindon / Town Centre.
- At the roundabout at the end of the road, take the third exit staying on the A4312 towards the town centre.
- Stay on the dual carriageway through the sets of traffic lights, then take the second exit at the roundabout, keeping on the A4312. This will bring you to Swindon’s famous Magic Roundabout!
- Here you need to take the second exit signposted Town Centre - you’ll exit the roundabout onto Fleming Way with the fire station on your left-hand side and a petrol station on your right.
- Go straight over the next mini-roundabout, then follow the signs for town centre parking.

Wheelchair access
For wheelchair users arriving by car, accessible parking is available at Newbridge Square by prior arrangement.
Arriving by bus or rail, you’ll find us on the doorstep of the bus station and an accessible 200 metres from the train station.
Once in the building, there are lifts to our office space.
